The Season Finale for Redline Time Attack took place at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, right outside Los Angeles. The track layout was a combination of in-field turns and a high speed section on the outer donut. Some of the cars reached a speed of 170mph through the straight away. Others relied on their car's ability to handle efficiently through the tighter in-field corners.

The spectators had a few locations to view the cars speed by. A bridge hovering above the center straight away provided a unique sense of speed and acoustics as the engines hit their redline. Another view from the inner section made it easy to follow where each driver hit the apex. Each driver had a certain cornering technique. JC Meynet with his AQMotorsports sponsored Honda S2000 practically drifted the car through some tight corners. Fast or not, he claimed the event victory for the RWD modified class. The individual team garages were also open to the public, allowing them to get a glimpse of the heavy maintenance these cars have to go through before a race.

Chris Rado's doubled winged Scion TC from World Racing dominated the Unlimited FWD section, setting a lap under 1:40. This was a record at Auto Club Speedway for a FWD car. It did more than keep up with the Unlimited Class AWD and RWD cars.

The AMS Performance/NOS Energy Drink Mitsubishi EVO X with driver Paul Gerrard won the 2009 Unlimited AWD Season Championship for the team. He was closely followed by another Mitsubishi Evo, sponsored by Sierra Sierra and driven by David Empringham

The final Super Session was at the end of the day as the sunlight was fading. Some cars had their lights turned on while others weren't equipped with have working headlights. After three intense laps around the circuit in low light, the FXMD Acura NSX took the overall event victory.
