After George W. is informed of North Korea’s invasion of Japan, he and his advisors panic and decide to Annex Canada to protect the U.S from possible hostile forces that may enter from the North. Really this is something that the U.S has long wanted to do anyway but just needed an excuse to do it. Kind of like what went down in Iraq except the Turbans are replaced with Toques.
It’s a cold grey morning in anywhere, any town Canada (it’s snowing too of course). Little Jonny Canuck sits down to his morning plate of pancakes with Maple syrup and Canadian bacon. He eats quickly and can barely hold back his excitement as yesterday his father took him down to the Canadian Tire store to buy him a new pair of ice skates. Today will be the first day that he gets to try them out on the local pond playing hockey with the other neighborhood kids. The pancakes provide a warm, solid base of sustenance for the activities that lay ahead. The tasty and sugary Maple syrup will supply the extra boost he will need to speed past the other players and the bacon offers salt which will help keep him hydrated.
Meanwhile, south of the border Billy Yank is getting ready to order up a Chili Cheese burger with Chili Cheese fries and a Coke from a truck stop somewhere off the 95. Billy doesn’t know much about Canada and even less about hockey. But Billy knows cheeseburgers. This place has been his favorite source of cheeseburgers for as long back as he can remember and he’s been riding these rails for year. Billy has a long road ahead of him. He’s not sure what his cargo is but he knows it’s heavy and close to his maximum load capacity. He’s hoping he doesn’t get stopped by the Highway Patrol as the last thing he needs right now is a lot of questions. His shipping manifest says “TOP SECRET” and he’s been sworn to secrecy which could make any questioning very awkward for him. Billy’s headed to someplace called Fort McMurray in Canada and he has an uneasy feeling in his stomach… |
