Innerview with Corissa Furr

C8: What, if anything about the world today scares you?

CF: Global Warming... It is actually pretty scary if you think about it.

C8: Do you remember the first picture you saw of yourself that made you say man, I should be a model or was it something that others suggested?

CF: I always had a lot of people tell me that I should model...including my mom. She always wanted to get me into that sort of thing, but never really had the time or the money. But...it happened anyway, and now she’s quite proud! = )

C8: You’ve done a lot of work in the sport compact car scene, what’s been your most memorable gig thus far?

CF: Wow...I don’t know. Its all been memorable for me. 2007 was a very important year for my career...from winning Miss HIN DC, to going on tour to every city, to interviewing celebs like Sean Kingston, Huey and Tera Patrick, to getting my FIRST ever magazine cover - Import Tuner!! So...I would have to thank HIN and all the fans for helping to jumpstart my modeling career last year.

C8: Do you see yourself working in the automotive industry in any other capacity and if so what would you like to do?

CF: I would really love to host a media coverage television show. I LOVE to interact with all the fans and spectators, as well as the performers, sponsors and dedicated car builders that make rhose kinds of events possible. Its a great way to see all of the action, and at the same time, I get to show all those people at home what they’re missing out on!!!

C8: What’s your experience been like working with NOS? What do you like the best about being a Naughty NOS Girl?

CF: Working with NOS so far this year has been a great privilege. The crew and everyone at the company are awesome....and I get all the NOS I want!! Can’t complain about that! C8: What’s the best thing that a guy has ever done for you?

CF: I was given a custom made bracelet that was engraved with his nickname for me. So no one really knows what it means except for us. It was really sweet...and I love it!!

C8: Do you have a role model and if so, who?

CF: I have a couple of people that I strive to be like in some way or another. First, my parents, because they possess the qualities that I think all responsible adults should. And they would do anything to ensure my happiness as their child...which is how I want my future children to feel. Also, my best friend Lizz is someone I truly admire. She is totally head strong at her age, and she has a truly logical way of thinking in all types of situations. Whenever I need to rationalize anything, I call her. Oh, and also because she owns a pitbull named Rex, whom I am absolutely in love with!!

C8: What’s something that no one knows about you?

CF: Everything about me is alllllll natural. Except for maybe when I wear false eyelashes...haha

C8: Where would be your favorite place in the world to live and work?

CF: Any tropical beach....just give me my laptop and my blackberry!!

C8: Boots or pumps?

CF: Hmmm, tough question. I wear both! But probably pumps more often.
