Ok, so you’ve dusted the cow-webs off that grill of yours and the whole neighborhood now knows that you make a mean Oscar Meyer hot dog. Why not join the big leagues and instead of buying that pre-fab processed bull shit, make your own grilling delicacies like Carbon8’s take on the good old fashioned homemade burger. Of course, the only thing we’ve really done differently is add booze to our recipe but hey, what’s new right?
INGREDIENTS
1LB of ground beef (You can use lean if you want but we don’t recommend it. It’s a burger dude, don’t be that guy.), 1 Egg, Pinch of fresh ground pepper, Pinch of freshly minced parsley, Pinch of salt, 2 table spoons Worcestershire sauce (We recommend Lea & Perrin’s) Garlic powder, ½ to 1 cap full Kentucky Bourbon depending on how much you like the taste of Bourbon (We recommend using Maker’s Mark)
STEPS
1. Mix ingredients together in large mixing bowl by hand
2. Form individual burger patties by hand (1LB of ground beef usually makes 2 man sized burgers and 4 chick burgers)
3. Place patties on grill
4. Place on bun and garnish accordingly
